Bead Me Happy is all about making beading super fun and easy for kids. Our Beading Parties are the perfect option for your child’s next birthday party, play date, or get together. Not only will your party goers have loads of fun getting beading, but it is an easy and hassle free option for you! We will come to your home or venue of your choice with everything - you just need to supply us enough space to get creative. You can sit back, relax, chat to other Mums or get the food or next game ready knowing the kids are having a great time! Our Beading Parties for Kids are great for ages 5 to 12 years (we can offer a modified version for teens too, just ask).
To start, each child gets to make and decorate their own origami jewellery box. We have bright coloured boxes and a great range of crafty bits, including stickers, glitter glue, flowers, butterflies, feathers, ribbon, stamps and much more.
Then it’s time to get beading! We bring along trays on fantastic children friendly beads. Our collection has everything from butterflies and dolphins to flowers and starfishes. There are big beads and little beads for every style (and beading ability!). Each child gets to make a matching necklace and bracelet set.
With a standard party, the necklace and bracelet are made on elastic thread. There is an option to make the necklace on tiger tail wire with a silver clasp. This option means the necklace will last longer and have a nicer finish. The cost is an extra $1.50 per child.
6 – 10 Beaders: $15.00 per beader
11+: $13.00 per beader
(Additional $1.50 per beader for wire and clasp option).
There is a minimum of 6 children required per party.
Bead Me Happy Parties are perfect for ages 5 to 12 years. Preschool parties can be negotiated with adequate parental help and supervision (Children turning 5 who may have friends who are nearly 5 are no problem)
Bead Me Happy Parties are currently delivered in the Nelson/Tasman Region. If you are outside this region, don’t hesitate to enquire as we may be able to offer parties at your location soon!
